The top hotel in Shamrock is the Holiday Inn Express, a beautiful, modern building in a mostly residential neighborhood towards the north edge of town along Main Street, 2 blocks from I-40 exit 163. Route 66 runs past just to the south, and the old road is featured prominently in the nearby Pioneer West Museum. The hotel offers all the standard Holiday Inn Express amenities - good quality free hot breakfast, indoor pool, hot tub, gift shop, fitness center, and a microwave/refrigerator in each of its 65 large rooms.

Best Western Shamrock Inn is located half a mile north of the town center along US 83 (Main Street), on the north side of I-40 exit 163; part of a small developed area surrounded by farmland. The inn occupies a handsome, white, three floor building of 46 rooms & suites, a heated indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center and guest laundry. Internet access and full breakfast are both free. There are four restaurants opposite, plus several gas stations.

Sleep Inn Shamrock provides comfortable, economically-priced lodging to cross-country travelers on I-40 or visitors to town, which amongst other reasons is famous for the location of the venerable U-Drop Inn, along historic Route 66. The 53 rooms are well furnished, larger than average, and equipped with a microwave & refrigerator. Free continental breakfast is available on the premises; for lunch & dinner there are several restaurants nearby, around exit 164 of I-40, and others a few blocks south along Main Street towards Shamrock town center.
