Sonora's Quality Inn hotel is located a little way north of the town center along Highway 277, beside exit 400 of I-10, within walking distance of various shops and restaurants. To the rear, Sutton County Park features sports facilities, a picnic area and childrens' playground. The main amenities are an outdoor pool, exercise facility, guest laundry and free continental breakfast. There are 52 rooms available, all equipped with microwave, refrigerator & luxury bedding, part of a two floor, exterior corridor building that is surrounded by plenty of parking space and is set back slightly from the nearby main roads.

Roughly half way (370 miles) between El Paso and Houston, the pet friendly Econo Lodge Sonora provides affordable, comfortable lodging with a prominent location at the US 277 exit of I-10, adjacent to Sonora Municipal Airport. All rooms contain a microwave/refrigerator and are divided into several exterior corridor blocks, part of quite a large complex that includes an outdoor pool and a steakhouse restaurant. Morning coffee and wi-fi are free; the motel also has a bbg grill and coin-operated laundry.

The Super 8 is a single floor, exterior corridor property, fully renovated in 2018, conveniently situated next to several restaurants, shops & gas stations at the intersection of I-10 with US 277, also within walking distance of a city park and the Eaton Hill Nature Center. The limited amenities comprise free wi-fi, free buffet breakfast, coin-operated laundry and a basic business center. Pets are welcome.
