To show that not every day at Capitol Reef National Park is bright and sunny, this is a view after late April snowfall along UT 24, on the west side of Capitol Reef, close to the park entrance. The red cliffs on the north side of the road include Chimney Rock, Mummy Cliff and the edge of Meeks Mesa, while land to the south is mostly featureless though the deep canyon of Sulphur Creek is less than a mile away.
