Stanton Canyon is a wide, shallow drainage at the edge of Lake Powell one mile southeast of Bullfrog Marina. The canyon is used as a primitive campground, and has many places where it is possible to drive right to the water's edge. This panorama shows the southern part of the area used for camping, overlooking Bullfrog Bay, with Halls Crossing Marina on the far side and low red cliffs of Navajo sandstone in most other directions.
