The Rodeway Inn, formerly High Desert Lodge, is a small motel of just 26 rooms, all on the ground floor, in two blocks facing the extra large parking area at the front. Amenities are free wi-fi, free coffee, coin-operated laundry and a microwave/refrigerator in all accommodations. The best aspect of this budget-priced property is the location, in the tiny settlement of Big Water, along US 89, 12 miles from Wahweap Marina on the shores of Lake Powell, and within a short drive of many other scenic areas such as the Wahweap Hoodoos, Stud Horse Point, Paria Rimrocks and the Smoky Mountain Road. The main, residential part of Big Water is one mile northwest, but even here there are no particular facilities; for shopping and dining the nearest center is Page, Arizona, 15 miles along the highway.
