SpringHill Suites Washington is located on the quieter north side of Interstate 15, at the Green Springs Drive exit, still within walking distance of the many shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The access road continues a short distance to the local golf course, beyond which is a large expanse of red rock formations (part of Red Cliffs National Conservation Area), including arches, canyons and dinosaur tracks. The hotel contains 111 guest rooms, equipped with microwave, refrigerator and sofa bed. The Holiday Inn Express hotel in Washington, UT, (along Town Center Drive) is part of a recently developed complex at the north east side of town, right next to exit 16 of I-14. Exit 16 is also the start of scenic highway 9, the main road into southern Utah, which leads to Zion National Park after 35 miles. Downtown Washington is 4 miles to the southwest, and the city of St George is 5 miles further. Facilities include an outdoor pool - in a secluded position away from the main road, a fitness center and a 25 person meeting room. Free breakfast is served, with a few hot items, Pets are welcome, for a small fee. All rooms have a microwave; some contain a sofa bed.
