This panorama is taken from the overlook along the trail to Mystic Falls and Fairy Creek at the north edge of Yellowstone National Park's Upper Geyser Basin - looking down on the geysers and pools of Biscuit Basin, beside the Firehole River. The Little Firehole River flows past to the south, entering a canyon at the edge of the Madison Plateau; Mystic Falls are a short distance further upstream.
