North Goggles Geyser lies at the western end of the Geyser Hill Loop, beside the junction with the continuation path towards Grand Geyser. Although it has a relatively small cone, the vent is surrounded by large sinter deposits, suggesting it was once very active, but in recent decades eruptions have been very rare; activity is for the most part limited to periodic (every five minutes or so) rising of the water level, causing a small overflow.
