This map shows the location of around 130 thermal features in Yellowstone National Park's
Upper Geyser Basin that have an official name, out of a total of well over 500. Major collections are the Cascade, Morning Glory, Daisy, Grand, Castle, Myriad and Geyser Hill groups, plus the more isolated Biscuit Basin and Black Sand Basin.
71 of the largest springs and geysers in the central region, denoted by green type, are linked to a page with photograph and description. These may be viewed as an
online tour, starting in the south at
Old Faithful, moving along the eastern loop trail as far north as
Morning Glory Pool, then returning to Old Faithful via the west section of the trail, the last feature being
Tortoise Shell Spring.
