Carmel Hotels

In a leafy, semi-residential part of Carmel, the Clarion Collection hotel is a small building of just 17 rooms, on 2 floors with outside corridors, but offers clean & very comfortable accommodation a short walk from the town center. All rooms contain a microwave, refrigerator & coffee maker, while a few have a balcony and/or fireplace. Sites within two miles include Carmel Beach City Park, Mission San Carlos, Pebble Beach Golf Course, Carmel River State Beach and the end of 17 Mile Drive. Free continental breakfast is provided.

On the corner of San Carlos Street and 5th Street, Best Western Carmel's Town House Lodge is within walking distance of all shopping, dining & art galleries in the center of Carmel-by-the-Sea, and just half a mile from the beach. Highway 1 is 0.6 miles east along Ocean Avenue. The lodge offers 28 rooms (all containing a microwave and refrigerator) in a motel-style building of two floors with exterior corridors, and a small outdoor heated pool. Free hot breakfast is served.

The Comfort Inn of Carmel has a central location at the intersection of Torres Street and Ocean Boulevard - 7 blocks from Highway 1 and an easy walk from all the many attractions of Carmel Village. The beach is a still-manageable 12 blocks west (0.6 miles). Lawns, mature trees, and decorative flowers create a relaxing atmosphere, and though small, the inn has a range of facilities including free breakfast, free newspaper and a refrigerator in each room.
