Seaside Hotels

Besides the Pacific Ocean, 0.3 miles north, Embassy Suites Seaside is also next to two small lakes, part of Robert Lake Park to the north and Laguna Grande Park to the south, as well as being just a short walk from a selection of restaurants and stores including Home Depot. The 225 room hotel occupies a prominent 12 story building along Del Monte Boulevard, and is centered on an airy, floor-to ceiling atrium lobby, containing tropical plants, a lounge/bar, plenty of seating and a dining area where the free hot breakfast is served. All accommodations include a separate living area, a refrigerator and microwave. Also complimentary are the nightly manager's receptions. Over 12,500 sq ft of space is available for meetings and events.

Holiday Inn Express at Monterey Bay has a lovely location near the west edge of Seaside, CA, one block from Highway 1 though far enough to escape the traffic noise, and nestled between two small lakes. Some of the 143 rooms (on five floors) have views of the ocean, just 1/3 mile away on the far side of the highway. The hotel is situated on Del Monte Boulevard, which leads directly into the center of Monterey, reaching Fisherman's Wharf after 2.2 miles; along the way are plenty of restaurants, though hot breakfast buffet is available free at the hotel. For relaxation, guests can choose from a health/fitness center, swimming pool and whirlpool.

The nearest beach is half a mile from SureStay Hotel Seaside, a small (38 room) hotel in a busy commercial neighborhood, located between Del Monte and Fremont boulevards, close to the Sand Dollar and Edgewater shopping centers. Most accommodations are on the ground or first floors, accessed directly from the parking lot, which is lined by bushes and small flower beds. All contain a microwave and refrigerator, while a few fireplace rooms and family suites are available, the latter sleeping up to six people. The one main amenity is free continental breakfast.
