The Best Western is the first chain hotel in Colfax, northern California, along I-80 in the Sierra Nevada, built beside the interstate near exit 135, towards the south edge of town. Over a dozen restaurants are within walking distance, and one supermarket. All accommodations at the pet friendly inn contain a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator, while general amenities are free wi-fi, free hot breakfast, a fitness center and an outdoor pool. The hotel was newly constructed in 2021-2; opening is scheduled for late winter.
