Auburn Hotels

Auburn's Holiday Inn is a full service hotel a few blocks north of the town center and 30 miles from Sacramento along I-80 - the inn is located at 120 Grass Valley Parkway (CA 49), beside exit 119B of the interstate. This part of town is mostly residential though just north are several large stores, while the surrounding hills, rivers, lakes and the national forest offer many recreational opportunities. The inn offers dining at its own restaurant/lounge (Marie Callanders), swimming in the outdoor pool, exercise at the health/fitness center, plus a range of facilities for business and events.

Marriott are represented in Auburn by the SpringHill Suites (open fall 2019), built beside the Bowman Road exit of Interstate 80 on top of a small hill, which allows the 128 rooms to enjoy fine views of the wooded surroundings. All accommodations are studio suites, featuring a sofa bed, microwave, refrigerator and separate living area. Other amenities include a 24 hour market, a spacious lobby, an outdoor pool and free breakfast buffet. The nearest restaurants are around half a mile south, along the frontage road.

Like most hotels in Auburn, the Best Western Golden Key is near the northeast corner of town between junctions 121 and 122 of I-80 - a busy area of supermarkets and restaurants, all surrounded by the wooded hills of the Sierra Nevada foothills. The hotel has its own share of pine trees, lining the accommodation buildings and the gardens next to the outdoor pool & hot tub. Free continental breakfast is provided; for lunch and dinner there are two restaurants right next door. Downtown Auburn is 2 miles south along the interstate.

Super 8 Auburn benefits from a quiet location along a little side street, beside exit 121 of Interstate 80. Rooms face away from the freeway, looking across the tree-lined parking lot, which has an outdoor pool at the front. There are four restaurants in the vicinity, and various shops also within walking distance on the far side of I-5, including Raley's supermarket. The motel provides free wi-fi and free continental breakfast, with eight items. There are several suites available, including a family suite featuring a fireplace, hot tub bath, and space for six people.

The 76 guest rooms at Rodeway Inn Auburn all contain a microwave & refrigerator, and are quiet since the hotel is built at the edge of a tree-lined residential area - at the northeast side of town, just off I-80, and 2 miles from the Old Town district. There are several restaurants adjacent, though free deluxe continental breakfast is provided by the hotel, plus free coffee all day. The Quality Inn has a sheltered outdoor pool, in a courtyard between the two accommodation blocks, and other amenities of a hot tub, business center and a small meeting room.
