Mira Mesa Hotels

Within a few miles of the centers of Rancho Bernado, Poway and Mira Mesa, the Residence Inn is also well connected to other sites in the greater San Diego area by I-15 which passes by one block west; access is from exit 17, the Scripps Poway Parkway. The inn is clean, modern, and well maintained, containing 95 suites on 4 floors, most with fine views over the wooded, hilly land that surrounds the hotel. For leisure, the inn offers an outdoor pool, whirlpool & fitness center, while for dining, a free buffet breakfast is provided each morning plus a free light dinner weekday evenings.

The Homewood Suites is quite a large hotel, containing three floors and 132 suites, in a triangular building that conceals a beautiful tropical courtyard garden plus a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Besides Mira Mesa, the centers of Poway, Rancho Santa Fe, La Jolla and Del Mar are within a few miles, as is the Miramar Marine Corps Air Station, a short distance south along I-15. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, though drinks and snacks are available at the on-site lounge; free breakfast is also provided, plus free evening receptions during the week. The hotel opened late summer 2019, after full renovation of an existing property.

Directly opposite the Residence Inn at 12032 Scripps Highlands Drive is another all-suite Marriott hotel, the four story SpringHill Suites Rancho Bernardo/Scripps/Poway. Accommodation here comprises 137 rooms, 25% larger than average, containing a kitchen area with sink, refrigerator and microwave. Free hot breakfast buffet is served each morning while for lunch and dinner the nearest restaurant is Chili's, right next door. Leisure options are an outdoor heated pool, hot tub and fitness center.

In the expanding district of Mira Mesa, CA, 15 miles north of downtown San Diego, the Holiday Inn Express hotel provides 70 clean, well kept rooms, equipped with a coffee maker, refrigerator and microwave. All the varied attractions of San Diego are within easy reach via interstate 15, which runs right past the west side of the hotel and is accessed from Mira Mesa Boulevard (exit 16). Also on offer are free hot breakfast buffet, passes to a local fitness center, and guest laundry - no pool or hot tub though. The closest restaurant is Denny's, just next door.
