Basalt Hotels

The Hoffmann Hotel in Basalt is part of Hilton's Tapestry Collection, a group of upscale, boutique properties. The building has a beautiful location overlooking an artificial lake just east of the main road, Hwy 82, with views of wooded mountain slopes in all directions. Shops and restaurants are a short walk away, on the far side of the highway. The full service hotel includes meeting space, a fitness center and onsite dining, and is within a short drive of many recreation centers, year-round, including Snowmass and Aspen.

The Element by Westin is the one of the few chain hotels in Basalt, a small town along Hwy 82 in the valley of the Roaring Fork River, 22 miles northwest of Aspen - a scenic location, at the edge of the Rocky Mountains. Glenwood Springs and Interstate 70 are 20 miles north. The hotel caters for regular and long-stay guests; accommodations comprise standard rooms, studio suites and one bedroom suites, these latter with sofa bed and full kitchen. All rooms have mountain views. Food for cooking can be ordered via the free grocery delivery service. Wi-fi, hot breakfast and weekday evening receptions are complimentary. The hotel also has meeting space, a 24 hour fitness center, and an outdoor patio with firepit.
