The Comfort Inn of Carbondale, CO, is pleasantly situated on the banks of Roaring Fork River at the north edge of town, surrounded by mountains including 12,953 foot Mount Sopris to the south, part of the Maroon Bells Wilderness. The hotel is a good choice for accommodation when visiting the more expensive resorts of Snowmass or Aspen, both an easy drive east along Highway 82.
