The Baymont by Wyndham has an easterly location in Monte Vista, along Grand Avenue (US 160/285) but partly shielded from the highway behind a line of trees. The surroundings are mostly residential; the nearest restaurants and shops are a few blocks west, towards the city center. Accommodation at the motel is affordable, and amenities are limited: free breakfast, free wi-fi and an indoor pool/hot tub. Rooms are accessed by interior corridors.

Located 2.5 miles west of the center of Monte Vista with far reaching views towards the Rocky Mountains, the Movie Manor is one of the more unusual Best Western properties, as most rooms have extra large windows looking out over a field to one of the few remaining drive-in movie screens in Colorado. Movies are shown from May to September, and the sound is fed to speakers in each room. Other attractions at the motel are a restaurant/lounge, exercise room, golf driving range and children's playground.
