Rifle Hotels

One of two recently built hotels in Rifle, the Hampton Inn occupies a handsome four story, 92 room property along Airport Road on the south side of town, just across the street from Wal-Mart, and easily accessed from I-70 exit 90. There are several state parks nearby including Rifle Falls (13 miles), and the hotel is just an hour's drive away from the edge of the Rocky Mountains. The hotel has already earned a reputation for cleanliness and good customer service, and it has all the expected amenities: free hot breakfast, 24 hour convenience store, fitness center, indoor pool, meetings space and basic business services.

Open fall 2010, the newly built Comfort Inn Rifle has 82 clean, well equipped rooms all containing a microwave and refrigerator, and most enjoying views across the Colorado River valley towards distant wooded mesas. The inn is part of a group of restaurants and other businesses including Wal-Mart, on the south side of I-70 by exit 90 (Hwy 13); Rifle town center is one mile north. Amenities are above average for the brand, comprising free breakfast (with hot waffles), a fitness center, indoor pool/hot tub and a business center. Pets are welcome, for a small fee.

Like most hotels in Rifle, the Rodeway Inn is part of a shopping/dining area beside the I-70 exit, half a mile from US 6 and the city center. The surroundings are generally quiet, and scenic, with a steep, wooded hill just to the south and the Colorado River a short walk northwards. The motel has interior corridors and charges low rates, though the only amenities are free continental breakfast and free wi-fi. Guest rooms are available with one or more of a refrigerator, microwave, desk, sofa bed and kitchenette.
