The short, partly paved
Bright Angel Point Trail leads to the most popular canyon overlook on the North Rim, at the end of a narrow, sparsely wooded promontory. The path starts from Bright Angel Lodge, and passes a few knolls of white limestone, one of which, right at the end, provides the best views of the canyon; the panorama is centered on the long, straight Bright Angel Canyon, followed far below by the North Kaibab Trail.
