Canyon Hotels

Open fall 2022, Hilton's representative in Canyon is the 91 room/suite Hampton Inn, situated, like other hotels in town, a little way east of the center along 4th Avenue (Hwy 217). In the vicinity are several restaurants and small shops, while Texas A&M University and the Panhandle Museum are less than one mile west. The hotel features an indoor pool, a patio, a fitness center, a business center and one meeting room. Hot breakfast is complimentary. Interstate 27 runs past 1.5 miles east.

The Holiday Inn Express hotel in Canyon sits at the corner of Hospital Drive and 4th Avenue, towards the east edge of town, on the road which 12 miles further east enters Palo Duro Canyon State Park. The 66 room/suite hotel is within a mile of Palo Duro Creek Golf Club, Panhandle Plains Historical Museum and West Texas A&M University. Free hot breakfast is offered; for other meals most restaurants are over a mile away towards the town center. Leisure facilities are a fitness center and seven-person hot tub.

Canyon's Best Western hotel is located a mile east of the town center along 4th Avenue (TX 217), and is named after Palo Duro Canyon, one of the main natural attractions of the Texas Panhandle. The hotel occupies a handsome, white painted building of four floors and 50 rooms/suites, with a rural/residential setting, on the north side of the highway; the main amenities are an indoor pool/hot tub, exercise facility, meeting room, free wi-fi and free continental breakfast. The nearest restaurants are a mile or so west, near the West Texas A&M University campus.
