Hampton Inn Port Aransas enjoys a quiet location set back slightly from the main road (Hwy 361), backing onto fields and a lagoon. This location is half a mile from the Gulf of Mexico beaches, and much closer to a selection of restaurants and small shops. The Holiday Inn Express in Port Aransas sits in a peaceful residential area at the corner of Avenue G and 11th Street, two blocks from the beach and the Gulf of Mexico; some of the 74 rooms have distant views of the ocean. This is a relatively new hotel, noted for its quiet location, proximity to the beach and good facilities, which include an outdoor pool/sundeck, children's pool, fitness center and a 60 person meeting room. Complimentary hot breakfast buffet is prepared each morning.

In the center of the Gulf Coast resort of Port Aransas, the Best Western Ocean Villa has 48 refrigerator/microwave-equipped rooms on two floors, located in a quiet area of town, within walking distance of a selection of shops and restaurants. The hotel is 1/4 mile from the beach, and 1/2 mile from both Nueces County Park and University of Texas Marine Science Institute. Free enhanced continental breakfast is provided; also available are a games room, outdoor pool, business center and a small meeting room.

The Days Inn is the southernmost hotel in Port Aransas, built beside Newport Dunes Golf Club, right opposite Island Moorings Marina and only a third of a mile from the Gulf of Mexico beaches. Rooms are in two blocks either side of a landscaped garden with outdoor pool, hot tub, barbecue grills and tropical plants; half have golf course views, while the others overlook a small residential area to the east. Free continental breakfast is provided, served in a brightly decorated room with expansive views from the floor to ceiling windows. Other amenities are free wi-fi and copy/fax services.
