At the south edge of Heber City, UT, the Holiday Inn Express hotel has an easy-to-find location immediately south of the US 189/40 junction, surrounded on most sides by farmland. The downtown area is 1 mile north, Heber City Municipal Airport is 1 mile southwest and two state parks are within 5 miles (Deer Creek and Wasatch Mountain). The hotel is the best rated of the limited selection of lodging in Heber City; it offers 75 clean rooms, a heated indoor pool & hot tub, and the free Express Start continental breakfast. Other dining is available in several restaurants 1 or 2 blocks north along Main St. Most rooms have fine views eastwards towards the Uinta Mountains.

A Walmart superstore is within walking distance, as are a number of restaurants and smaller shops. Accommodations include family suites with balconies, separate bedrooms and full kitchens, while recreation amenities are an indoor pool (open 24 hours), a fitness center, spa and firepit. Complimentary hot breakfast buffet is provided.
