San Simeon Hotels

Reliable, mid range lodging is provided in San Simeon by the Comfort Inn hotel, situated on the eastern CA 1 frontage road within walking distance of all the limited facilities in town. The beach is 800 feet away, or about twice that if driving. The two story accommodation block is set back from the road, behind the office building and a restaurant, and is surrounded by a large parking lot, front and back. Wi-fi and hot breakfast are complimentary. All guest rooms contain a microwave & refrigerator; a few feature a fireplace and/or balcony.

Quality Inn San Simeon is one of the cheaper hotels in town, offering basic facilities to people traveling along Highway 1 or visiting the nearby attractions of Hearst Castle, Cambria, Moonstone Beach and Big Sur. The inn has a quiet location, set back a little from the highway, with some of the rooms overlooking a sheltered courtyard garden. Guests can make use of the outdoor pool, hot tub, sun deck, picnic area and restaurant - Manta Rey, which is open for dinner only, though free continental breakfast is also available.
