Craig's Hampton Inn is an elegant, well managed, four story hotel located in a lightly developed, partly residential area on the west side of town, set back a little from the nearby main roads (US 40 and Hwy 13/789), so allowing guests a quiet night's sleep. There are several restaurants and a Wal-Mart store within walking distance. The hotel serves free hot breakfast (take-out version available), and has meeting space and a business center; leisure amenities are an indoor pool, hot tun and fitness center. A kitchenette and sofa bed are provided in the suites.

The extended stay Candlewood Suites hotel in Craig is built alongside Highway 13 in a semi-rural neighborhood at the southwest corner of town. The all-suite accommodations comprise 76 oversized rooms, all containing a full kitchen, food for which can be purchased from the on-site Candlewood Cupboard convenience store, open 24 hours. South-facing suites have views across fields towards the Yampa River. A fitness center, gazebo with bbq grill, guest laundry and a business center are the other principal facilities. Wi-fi and guest laundry facilities are complimentary.

The 45 clean, spacious rooms at Best Western Deer Park Inn provide a quiet night's sleep, as the hotel has a peaceful setting surrounded by fields along the main approach to Craig from the southwest (Hwy 13). Breakfast is good too - complimentary, and including hot items; other meals can be purchased in the restaurant across the street at the Holiday Inn, or from places in Craig town center, one mile north. Free snacks and drinks are also served, on weekday evenings. The other main amenities at the hotel are an indoor pool, hot tub, guest laundry, complimentary access to an adjacent health club, and a microwave/refrigerator in each room.

The Quality Inn is a 152 room, full service property featuring a floor to ceiling lobby containing a large pool, fitness center, games room and hot tub. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and room service are available from the on-site restaurant/bar, while meetings are catered for by four rooms, totaling 4,715 sq ft of event space. This a relatively old hotel, but the rooms are generally clean, the staff efficient, and the location is good, at the edge of countryside on the southwest side of town, beside Highway 13. Select accommodations feature one or more of a sofa bed, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator.

Formerly Rocky Mountain Inn, the Super 8 motel in Craig is a small, affordable property offering just the basic amenities of free continental breakfast, free wi-fi and business services. Guest rooms are in two interior corridor blocks, surrounded by a good sized parking lot, along Hwy 13 on the west side of town, a little way south of the main road US 40. There are several other hotels nearby, while shopping & dining are within walking distance to the east, towards the city center.
