East Central El Paso (Airport) Hotels

The four star El Paso Marriott is almost the closest hotel to the international airport, just half a mile south of the terminal buildings, and occupies a large site along busy Montana Avenue - well positioned for easy travel to all central El Paso destinations, and within walking distance of a number of good restaurants. The Marriott has 296 modern guest rooms and 14 meeting rooms (13,525 sq ft of event space), all complemented by a wide range of services and facilities that includes a restaurant, lounge/bar, indoor & outdoor pools, sauna, hot tub, fitness center, concierge level, gift shop and a business center.

El Paso's Radisson provides just about the closest lodging to the international airport, located a quarter of a mile south of the terminal buildings along Airway Boulevard, so near enough to walk, though the hotel does of course operate a complimentary shuttle, a service that extends to other places within a three mile radius. The hotel is centered on a tropical courtyard garden with (outdoor) pool and sundeck, and it also offers an on-site restaurant (Olive's), serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service & evening drinks, plus a complimentary manager's reception in the evenings. Other amenities are an indoor pool/hot tub, business center and 6,400 sq ft of meeting space.

Guests at the well-reviewed Holiday Inn El Paso Airport (previously Wingate) are within a short walk of Bassett Place Mall, which contains over 80 stores and restaurants. Hotel and mall are situated beside the Geronimo Drive exit of I-10, 5 miles from the city center and 2 miles from the international airport (served by complimentary shuttle). Wi-fi, coffee and a daily newspaper are also free. The hotel has three meeting rooms, the largest catering for events of up to 60 people. Leisure amenities are an outdoor pool, whirlpool and fitness center. All accommodations are equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. The onsite restaurant is open all day, and also provides room service until 11 pm.

El Paso's Courtyard is one of the best rated hotels in town, because of the friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient location - next to I-10 and a mile from the airport (served by 24 hour free shuttle). The surroundings are a mixture of other hotels, private residences and industrial buildings, but with a good selection of restaurants within walking distance along Airway Boulevard, and shopping available a mile west at the Bassett Place Mall. The inn has 90 rooms, an outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, and a cafe serving breakfast.

Modern, welcoming and beautifully clean, Residence Inn El Paso is one of the top accommodation choices in town, and has an easily-reached location alongside interstate 10, less than 2 miles from El Paso International Airport. The hotel caters more to extended stay guests, with 96 one- or two-bedroom suites each containing a full kitchen, large work desk, separate living area and extra sofa bed. Free hot breakfast buffet is served daily plus a free evening reception during the week. A 24 hour market is open for purchase of drinks and snacks. The only negative aspect is the proximity to I-10, which can make some of the south-facing rooms a little noisy.

Staybridge Suites El Paso is situated along the southern I-10 frontage road (Gateway Boulevard), adding to the extended stay choices near the international airport; this location is just 1.5 miles south of the terminals, within reach of the free shuttle which also serves other local area attractions within a 3 mile radius. The hotel has 109 suites, all including a full kitchen, large work desk and sofa bed. Breakfast, weekday evening receptions and wi-fi are all complimentary, and while there is not much of interest in the immediate vicinity, a good selection of restaurants can be found one mile north, along Montana Avenue near the airport. The other main facilities of the Staybridge Suites are an outdoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center, bbq grills, library, 24 hour convenience store and business center.

Embassy Suites El Paso is an older, seven story property that was fully renovated late 2015 after conversion from another brand. The hotel is centered on a floor-to-ceiling atrium lobby containing a fountain, tropical plants and comfortable seating areas, and it accommodates guests in a range of two-room suites, equipped with coffee maker, microwave & refrigerator. Hot breakfast and evening receptions are complimentary. Other meals are served at the Bistro Cafe, while snacks and sundry items may be purchased from a 24 hour market. Also available are a pool, fitness & business centers, and meeting space for up to 200 people. The hotel sits along the southern I-10 frontage road near Geronimo Drive, opposite Bassett Place Mall.

The 114 room Homewood Suites is part of a small group of hotels along the south side of I-10 near the Airway Boulevard exit, 2 miles from El Paso Airport and a similar distance from two shopping malls (Bassett Place and Cielo Vista). The extended stay/all-suite hotel features modern accommodations in studio, one bed or two bed configurations, all with a full kitchen and free wi-fi. Other complimentary amenities are an airport shuttle, grocery shopping service, hot breakfast and evening dinner & drinks (Mon-Thu). Snacks, sundries and cookable meals can be purchased from the 24 hour convenience store. For relaxation the hotel offers an outdoor pool (in a rather shady central courtyard), a fitness center and a putting green.

At the front of Hilton Garden Inn El Paso Airport is a pleasant outdoor pool and patio, somewhat shaded but positioned to catch the late afternoon sun. Inside, the hotel has a fitness center, 2,800 sq ft of meeting space, a lounge/bar and the Great American Grill restaurant which is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner & evening room service. A complimentary shuttle is provided to El Paso Airport, 2 miles north. All rooms contain a microwave and refrigerator. The inn is the westernmost of a line of hotels along the southern I-10 frontage road, adjacent to another Hilton property (the Homewood Suites).

I-10 runs right past Hampton Inn El Paso-Airport, enabling quick travel to the downtown area, 6 miles west. The airport is just over a mile north, served by 24 hour complimentary shuttle. The neighborhood has a mixture of industry, private residences, other hotels and patches of undeveloped land, but there are several restaurants within walking distance to the north (along Airport Boulevard), and two shopping malls one mile in either direction along the interstate. Highlights of the hotel are the free hot breakfast, free manager's reception (Mon-Thu), meeting space, a fitness center and a shady outdoor pool, in a courtyard between the two accommodation blocks. Rooms include a selection of suites with kitchenette.

Marriott's TownePlace Suites is one of the newer hotels near El Paso Airport, situated along a side street one block west of the busier Airway Boulevard, just 1.3 miles from the terminal buildings. A good selection of restaurants are within walking distance, plus shops along nearby Montana Avenue, though most of the surroundings are a mixture of business sites and private residences. All accommodations at the 123 room, all-suite/long stay hotel contain a full kitchen with dishwasher and stove. Free breakfast is served each morning, and free light dinner weekday evenings. A 24 hour convenience store sells drinks, snacks and cookable meals.

Open late 2020, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott is one of the closest hotels to El Paso International Airport; along Airway Boulevard less than one mile south of the terminals, and linked by complimentary shuttle. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and Cielo Vista Mall is a short drive southeast. All accommodations are studio suites, equipped with refrigerator, sofa bed and microwave; cookable meals can be purchased from the 24 hour convenience store. Free hot breakfast is provided.

The Wyndham is the closest hotel to El Paso Airport, on the south side of the parking lot in front of the terminal - no shuttle required, though the hotel does have one, serving destinations within a three mile radius. This is a full service property, complete with (seasonal) water park, featuring a corkscrew waterslide, waterfall, and what is reputedly the largest hotel swimming pool in El Paso. The pool complex also includes a fire pit, pavilion and cabana bar. 17,000 square feet of function space cater for meetings and events. The hotel also has an all-day restaurant.

One of the closest hotels to El Paso Airport, the pet friendly Hawthorn Inn is just half a mile from the terminal entrance, and backs on to part of the cargo area. The hotel is large, with 191 rooms & suites, some overlooking a pretty, south-facing, tree-lined garden with outdoor pool and hot tub. The free breakfast includes a selection of hot items, and there are two restaurants adjacent, with many more one block south, along Montana Avenue. Most rooms contain a microwave & refrigerator, while some of the suites have a kitchenette. The hotel operates a free shuttle to/from the airport.

The Holiday Inn Express El Paso Airport is situated just 1.5 miles south of the terminal buildings (free shuttle available), and easily accessed, being right next to interstate 10, on the southern frontage road close to exit 25, Airway Boulevard. There are restaurants nearby and over 140 stores at Cielo Vista Mall, less than a mile to the east. The hotel provides all the standard Holiday Inn Express amenities, including free hot breakfast, free wi-fi, a pool (outdoor), hot tub, fitness center, business center and meeting room.

Best Western Plus El Paso Airport occupies a large building with 203 rooms and an impressive atrium lobby, plus many full service features: a restaurant (Mirai Grill), lounge/bar, indoor & outdoor pools, fitness center, coffee maker/microwave/refrigerator in each room, complimentary airport transportation, and five meeting rooms with 6,300 sq ft of space. The wide range of facilities, good location and professional staff make the Best Western one of the top rated airport hotels in town. The property is located along Gateway Boulevard, a mile south of El Paso International Airport via Airway Boulevard, and half way between exits 24 and 25 of I-10.

The three floor, interior corridor Best Western Entrada Hotel is just 800 feet from the terminal buildings at El Paso Airport, so within walking distance, though a free 24 hour shuttle is of course provided. The Cassidy Road entrance to Fort Bliss is 1.3 miles north, while downtown El Paso is 6 miles west, via I-10. All guest rooms contain a microwave, while the suites have a refrigerator and sofa bed. Other complimentary amenities are wi-fi, parking and hot breakfast; for lunch/dinner there are several restaurants close by.

The 124 room/suite Fairfield Inn is built opposite another Marriott property (TownePlace Suites), just off Airway Boulevard one block from Interstate 10 and one mile from the international airport. There are several shops in the vicinity, and a good selection of restaurants, though free hot breakfast is provided by the hotel. Wi-fi is also complimentary, while the other facilities are a convenience store, an outdoor pool, fitness & business centers and a 593 sq ft meeting room.

The three floor, 102 room Comfort Inn offers affordable, mid range accommodation alongside interstate 10 at the Airway Boulevard exit, less than 2 miles from the international airport (linked by free shuttle service). There are several restaurants close by, Wal-Mart down the street and Cielo Vista Mall just beyond (0.9 miles). Free hot breakfast, guest laundry, a business center, fitness center and meeting space for 20 people are the main amenities. Rooms are available with sofa bed and kitchenette facilities.

The Comfort Suites is just half a mile west of El Paso Airport along Airway Boulevard, in a lightly developed neighborhood close to a group of warehouses, not near any restaurants or other facilities. The hotel has a secluded outdoor pool at the rear, while inside are an exercise room and a dining area where the free hot breakfast is served. Wi-fi and airport transportation are also complimentary. Guest rooms (all containing microwave/refrigerator) are contained within a new-looking, four floor, interior corridor building, which is surrounded by plenty of parking space.

Centrally located along busy Montana Avenue, the Quality Inn El Paso Airport hotel is less than a mile from the international airport, walking distance from Fort Bliss, and just across the road from Bassett Center Mall. The nearest I-10 exit is 24. The hotel has an above average range of services, with a restaurant/cocktail lounge on-site (Gerardo's), an outdoor pool, business center and free airport shuttle. Free full breakfast is provided. The 95 rooms are quite large and well maintained, all equipped with refrigerator & microwave.

El Paso International Airport is 1.7 miles by road from the Travelodge hotel, which is situated just south of I-10 at the Geronimo Drive intersection (exit 24B), part of a group of businesses including several restaurants. 24 hour airport transportation is complimentary, as are wi-fi and breakfast. Accommodations are in two blocks, accessed by exterior corridors and surrounded by the parking lot, enlivened by a few palm trees. Pets are welcome, for a fee.

Two miles south of El Paso International Airport, the Super 8 is quite a large motel with 165 oversized rooms on 2 floors, located on the south side of I-10, just east of exit 26 (Hawkins Boulevard). The rooms are arranged around the hotel's heated outdoor pool and landscaped courtyard gardens; other amenities are an exercise facility, bbq grills, complimentary 24 hour airport shuttle, and free continental breakfast. The hotel is rather old but well maintained, and reasonably priced.
