East El Paso Hotels

A new Courtyard by Marriott hotel in east El Paso opened early 2017, along the northern I-10 frontage road, at the edge of a business/industrial neighborhood though also within walking distance of shopping and dining, just to the north. Also close by (half a mile) is a sports park including childrens' playground. The 104 room hotel does have a restaurant/lounge on the premises, open for dinner, evening drinks & breakfast, and can arrange delivery from nearby outlets. Other features are a spacious lobby, indoor pool/hot tub, fitness & business centers and a 1,280 sq ft meeting room.

Residence Inn El Paso East opens late 2024, along the eastern I-10 frontage road, 17 miles from the city center and 14 miles from Fort Bliss, in a developing area of shops and restaurants; also near the Amazon Fulfillment Center. The extended stay property has suites in studio, one bedroom and two bedroom floorplans; all include a fully-equipped kitchen. Daily hot breakfast is complimentary. Leisure amenities are the usual outdoor pool and fitness center.

Hampton Inn El Paso East has a good location at the Zaragoza Road exit of I-10; easily reached, though set back slightly from the interstate at the edge of a business district, also just a short walk from a shopping center with such stores as Lowe's, Kohl's and Ross, plus a cinema and plenty of restaurants. The hotel opened summer 2014. Downtown El Paso is 13 miles west, and the international airport is 8 miles away. All guest accommodations contain a microwave & refrigerator, while the suites have additional living space, sink and a sofa bed. A 24 hour convenience store sells sundries, snacks and drinks. Free hot breakfast is provided each morning. A 24 hour business center and 60 person meeting room are also available.

The second TownePlace Suites hotel in El Paso opened spring 2020, along the eastern Interstate 10 frontage road ten miles from the city center, in a business/commercial neighborhood within walking distance of shopping and dining. The four story property contains 92 suites (two bedroom, one bedroom and studio floorplans), and all feature a fully equipped kitchen. Hot breakfast is complimentary, while a bbq area in the garden offers an alternative to the in-room cooking facilities. A pool business center, fitness center and coin-operated laundry are some of the other amenities.

Open late 2018, the 88 room/suite Holiday Inn Express is amongst the easternmost hotels in El Paso, situated along Loop 375 two blocks south of the intersection with US 62 from Carlsbad, New Mexico. In the vicinity are several restaurants, and the Hospitals of Providence East Campus, though most of the surroundings are residential. Free hot breakfast buffet, a 24 hour business center, free wi-fi, a fitness center and meeting space are the main amenities.

The 90 room Holiday Inn Express El Paso I-10 East is a relatively new hotel, with large rooms, modern facilities and a good location alongside interstate 10 towards the east side of El Paso - along Gateway Boulevard, which is the frontage road on the north side of I-10, close to exit 32. El Paso International Airport is 9 miles west. There are three restaurants within two blocks, though complimentary hot breakfast is provided at the hotel, as are an indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center and business center.

El Paso International Airport is 5 miles from the Quality Inn hotel, but still within range of 24 hour complimentary shuttle. The inn is located along Yarbrough Drive, two blocks south of interstate 10 (exit 28B), and is quite a large property of 200 rooms on three floors, plenty of parking, and a nice pool/whirlpool within an area of landscaped gardens. There is a fair selection of restaurants nearby, in the mainly residential neighborhood of this part of east El Paso, though free breakfast (continental) is served at the hotel. The property is rather aged but recent remodeling has maintained its popularity.

Towards the east side of El Paso alongside I-10 (exit 29; Lomaland Drive), the Ramada is a two floor, exterior corridor hotel attractively decorated in red, orange and blue. Guest rooms are distributed between several blocks around a small, shady courtyard garden which has an outdoor pool/hot tub on the west side, all surrounded by plenty of parking spaces. Free continental breakfast is provided each morning; for lunch/dinner the nearest restaurants are a short walk away on the opposite side of the interstate. The hotel has a business center and one meeting room.

Although advertised as an airport motel, Days Inn El Paso East is a little further away than most such properties, 5 miles southeast along I-10, but it still offers a complimentary shuttle service. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance, plus several large stores including Wal-Mart just across the street. The motel occupies an older, three story building with exterior corridors, attractively decorated in yellow and orange, and it offers the familiar free continental breakfast, free wi-fi, and an outdoor pool, on the south side.
