North El Paso Hotels

The TownePlace Suites is one of a small number of hotels on the north side of El Paso, part of a group of restaurants, shops and other businesses along Transmountain Drive (Hwy 375), 12 miles from the city center. To the west, the road enters Franklin Mountains State Park after 4.5 miles. The hotel offers all-suite/extended stay accommodations (studio, one bedroom and two bedroom layouts), all equipped with a full kitchen and sofa bed. Hot breakfast and wi-fi are complimentary, while general amenities include bbq grills, an outdoor pool, a fitness center and meeting/event space.

Open summer 2021, the Holiday Inn Express is built along the western US 54 frontage road, 8 miles north of downtown El Paso, at the edge of a residential district with fine views across to the Franklin Mountains. There are no services in the vicinity; the nearest restaurants are half a mile away along Bus. 54. Free hot breakfast is provided each morning, plus grab and go options, while wi-fi is also complimentary. The 88 room/suite hotel has a fitness center, business center and outdoor pool.

The Candlewood Suites hotel is part of a developing commercial area on the northern approach to El Paso along US 54, though located one block from the highway and so providing a quiet night's sleep. West facing rooms have fine views across the desert to the Franklin Mountains which rise up 2 miles away. Fort Bliss is also within a few miles, while Cohen Stadium is directly opposite. Accommodation at the hotel comprises 101 spacious suites, all with a full kitchen; other facilities are a convenience store and fitness center (both open 24 hours), free wi-fi, a gazebo with bbq grills, and a business center.
