The first full-service hotel in Kyle opened summer 2017 - the 82 room, four story Hampton Inn is part of a group of businesses on the east side of I-35, including a Walmart and several restaurants, and close to more stores on the far side of the interstate. Access is from exit 215, Kyle Parkway, and the location is 20 miles from Austin, 60 miles from San Antonio. Locations within 7 miles are served by the hotel's complimentary shuttle. All accommodations contain a microwave and refrigerator, while the suites have a sofa bed and extra living space. Wi-fi, daily hot breakfast and evening receptions (Mon-Thu) are also complimentary. 2,600 sq ft of meeting space caters for events of up to 240 people.

The brick and stone-clad Comfort Suites hotel opened summer 2017, in a quiet location behind a Target store, part of the main shopping center in town (Kyle Crossing), bordering undeveloped land to the south and west. There are at least a dozen restaurants within walking distance, and a HEB supermarket. Access is from the Kyle Parkway exit of Interstate 35. The standard amenities include coin-operated laundry, business & fitness centers, an outdoor pool and free hot breakfast. Accommodations contain a coffee maker, sofa, microwave and refrigerator.
