The Hampton Inn - the first chain hotel in Farmington, UT - opened summer 2014, near the Hwy 225 exit of I-15 but set back half a mile from the interstate in a quiet, semi-rural neighborhood. A shopping center with a selection of restaurants is situated on the far side of the exit, while the Lagoon Amusement Park is within walking distance to the south. A 15 mile drive north reaches the causeway entrance to Antelope Island State Park. The hotel's 85 rooms include a selection of family suites and whirlpool bath suites; all accommodations have a microwave and refrigerator. Free hot breakfast is provided each morning, while snacks & drinks can be purchased 24 hours a day from the convenience store. For leisure the Hampton Inn has an indoor pool and a fitness center; also available are a business center & meeting space for up to 75 people.
