Hilton are represented in Douglas by the Hampton Inn (open summer 2015), built on the west edge of the city near the I-25 exit; close to a few restaurants though mostly surrounded by undeveloped grassland. The 66 accommodations include a selection of studio suites with sofa bed and sink; all rooms are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and work desk. Wi-fi and hot breakfast are complimentary. Business travelers can take advantage of a business center and a 720 sq ft meeting room, catering for events of up to 25 people. Leisure facilities are the usual fitness center, hot tub and indoor swimming pool.

The North Platte River flows just 800 feet from the Holiday Inn Express hotel in Douglas, WY, putting guests within easy reach of the scenic trail along its wooded banks. The neighborhood is quite lightly developed, though the town center is just one mile east along the main road, US 87, which links with I-25 one mile west. The hotel is one of the more modern properties of this brand, offering 76 nice clean rooms & suites, all with refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and upgraded bedding, together with the standard amenities of free hot breakfast, a business center, meeting space, pool, hot tub and fitness center.

New for 2009, the Sleep Inn has quickly earned a good reputation for the excellent staff, the large and comfortable rooms, and the above average free continental breakfast. The hotel has a relatively quiet location along US 87 towards the west side of town, half a mile from interstate 25 and within a short walk of several restaurants. The 63 rooms are equipped with a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave and cable TV, part of a handsome three story building that also contains an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, laundry, business center and meeting/banquet facilities.

Although advertised as a Douglas hotel, the Travelodge is actually 35 miles north, along Hwy 59, at the edge of the undeveloped plains and valleys of the Thunder Basin National Grassland. Guest rooms have a fine panorama over the flat surroundings, as apart from a post office and another couple of buildings there is nothing else in the vicinity to block the long distance views. Amenities are a fitness center, meeting room, coin-operated laundry and free wi-fi, plus an onsite restaurant/diner.

Half way (0.5 miles) between I-25 and the North Platte River, Super 8 Douglas is a basic, affordable, pet friendly motel with a quiet location along a side road, a short walk from six restaurants. Guest laundry, a business center, free wi-fi and free continental breakfast (with 8 items) are the main amenities. All accommodations contain a refrigerator and microwave. The town center is one mile west, with such attractions as Wyoming Pioneer Museum and Douglas Motorsports Park.
