The Hampton Inn hotel is the top place to stay in Green River; it has 106 large and beautifully clean rooms, attentive staff, free hot breakfast, reasonable rates, and a scenic location, away from town on the north side of I-80 beneath the eroded sandstone formations known as The Towers. The nearest restaurants are half a mile away along the main road through Green River (Hwy 374). Facilities at the Hampton Inn include a bar, fitness room, indoor pool, laundry, snack shop, business center and meeting rooms.

The Travelodge has a westerly location in Green River close to I-80 exit 89, a short walk from the edge of the cliffs on the east bank of the river. There is one restaurant right next door (a 24 hour diner), another just down the street and plenty more about one mile away in the city center. Guest rooms are divided between four separate, interior corridor blocks, separated by ample parking space, and all contain a microwave, refrigerator & coffee maker. Amenities are limited to free wi-fi and a 15-person meeting room.

Along main street (Hwy 374) in the middle of Green River, WY, the Super 8 provides affordable, basic lodging with amenities of free continental breakfast, a guest-use computer, and a microwave, refrigerator & coffee maker in each room. Pets are welcome, for a small fee. Top floor rooms have nice views over the river valley towards the colorful sandstone mesas that border the town to the north and south.
