Many of the rooms overlook the beautiful, six acre garden area featuring various pools, water slides, fountains and even an artificial river with rapids. There are six dining outlets on site to cater for all tastes and occasions, plus an assortment of shops, business services and many other facilities.

The handsome new hotel borders an area of woodland one block from the US 281 - Loop 1604 intersection near the north edge of the city, close to many shops and restaurants, and just 7 miles from the international airport. The Courtyard has 107 brightly decorated rooms & suites, an indoor pool, spa, fitness room, outdoor gazebo with fireplace, and a cafe serving cooked-to-order breakfast. Guests here to work can take advantage of free wi-fi, a 24 hour business center and a meeting room.

Close to the wooded hills on the north edge of town, the Residence Inn San Antonio Stone Oak sits at the edge of a shopping center beside the US 281-1604 freeway junction, 7 miles from the international airport. The extended stay hotel caters for guests in 88 suites that contain a full kitchen complete with dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and stove; both full breakfast and evening reception are provided free, while self-catering guests can take advantage of the free grocery shopping service. The five floor property features upscale, residential-style accommodation; rooms are available in two bedroom, one bedroom and studio configurations, and all have a full kitchen. Daily hot breakfast, evening dinner & drinks (Mon-Thu) and grocery shopping service are provided free of charge; the nearest supermarket is HEB, 1.3 miles west. Recreation facilities are a sports court, outdoor pool and fitness center, including free weights.

The Hampton Inn adjoins a shopping center (Northwoods) with such stores as Academy Sports, Kohl's and HEB, plus a 14 screen cinema, a skating/minigolf center and a good selection of restaurants. The location, near the US 281/1604 intersection, is 14 miles north of the city center and 7 miles from the international airport. The Holiday Inn Express airport hotel is situated 5.5 miles north of San Antonio International Airport along US 281 (San Pedro Avenue), linked by complimentary shuttle. The hotel has a quiet location set back from the road (on the west side), adjacent to a wooded, residential district, though all along the highway are many other hotels, restaurants and shops. All 67 rooms & suites have a microwave, coffee maker and full-size refrigerator, while the other main amenities are an outdoor pool, sauna, gift shop and fitness center. Free hot breakfast buffet is served.

The 98 room, four story Tru by Hilton (open summer 2022) is one of the northernmost hotels in San Antonio, adjoining a residential district on the east side of US 281 at the TPC Parkway exit, shielded from the highway by a row of restaurants. The affordable hotel has a marketplace and a fitness center, both open 24 hours, plus a dining area where the free hot breakfast is served. There are several scenic places within a few miles, including Cibolo Bluffs, Cedar Ridge and Natural Bridge Caverns.

Most of the 77 rooms in the Best Western Hill Country Suites have views over wooded, hilly land right on the north edge of San Antonio. The property is situated at the northwest corner of the busy intersection of US 281 with the TX 1604 northern loop road (next to Walmart), 15 miles due north of downtown San Antonio. Complimentary full breakfast is offered, plus free receptions Monday to Thursday evenings, while for other dining there are many restaurants within 0.2 miles. West-facing rooms (at the rear) have views of the sheltered outdoor pool.

The northernmost of several Fairfield Inn hotels in San Antonio is located alongside Loop 1604 just west of the US 281 junction - on the edge of a tree-lined residential neighborhood though close to several shopping centers and many businesses in the Stone Oak district. Internet access is free, as is buffet breakfast, including a hot sandwich; other amenities are an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, business library, convenience store and guest laundry. The 4 floor building contains 84 rooms & suites, all modern, spacious, and equipped with a microwave, work desk, and extra comfortable bedding.

The Comfort Suites in north San Antonio is part of a sizeable shopping complex next to the US 281/Loop 1604 intersection - a short walk from a HEB supermarket, a movie theater, many restaurants and other stores, yet is far enough from the highways to be unaffected by traffic noise. All 95 oversized rooms feature a microwave, refrigerator, wet bar, sofa bed, work desk and coffee maker; everything is clean and modern, and the place is well managed. Continental breakfast and internet access are both free, and the hotel has the expected leisure facilities of a pool (outdoor, plus sundeck) and fitness center. Also available are a convenience store, guest laundry and meeting/banquet facilities.

The Days Inn provides some of the most affordable lodging in the Northwoods/Stone Oak district of north San Antonio; the interior corridor property is positioned alongside US 281 half a mile south of the Loop 1604 junction, just across from various restaurants and large stores. The usual range of amenities comprises fitness & business centers, an outdoor pool, hot tub, free wi-fi and free continental breakfast, served in a bright, double-height dining room. Accommodations include one king or two queen bedded suites, with extra living space and a sofa bed.

The three story Super 8 benefits from a peaceful, wooded setting on the east side of US 281 - 500 feet from the freeway, separated by a vacant lot, bordered to the east by private residences and to the south by a small shopping center that includes half a dozen restaurants. The international airport is 5 miles south. Besides the regular accommodations, the hotel offers a selection of one bed studio suites that have a kitchenette and pull-out sofa. Other amenities are a 24 hour business center, a 50 person meeting room and an outdoor pool. Continental breakfast is complimentary.
