Orderville Canyon is one of the four major tributaries of the North Fork of the Virgin River in Zion National Park, and it too contains permanently flowing water in the lower end, though the upper few miles are usually dry. The drainage starts to form a canyon 5.5 miles from the river, initially deepening by a few falls (easily passed), then becoming relatively level. Several chokestones and deep pools create obstacles in the lower end, but often logs are left in place to aid the descent. The downstream section may also be reached from the Zion Narrows, but trips along the full length begin from the upstream end, in the high country on the east side of the national park.
