Llewellyn Gulch is a distant drainage in Glen Canyon NRA, reached by a lengthy drive along
Hole-in-the-Rock Road, then a 2 mile cross-country hike. The upper part is a slot canyon, containing a range of pretty chutes, dryfalls and enclosed passageways through generally light-colored rocks, while the middle part is just a little wider, and holds a small stream, and the lower end is much more open, eventually meeting Lake Powell. The canyon is very rarely visited, but the many photogenic places well reward the effort required to reach and explore it.
